To catch you all up

Hello friends and family - thanks for stopping by to read our blog. This was suggested to me by my friend, Tiffany, who moved away last year. She keeps asking how things are and suggested I start a blog. So...here it is. I will probably write most of the posts that you see. To catch everyone up - I am now 20 weeks pregnant with our first child. We know it's going to be a girl!!! We are both very excited. We have already picked out a name - Madelyn Grace. We will most often call her Maddie.

I have posted some pictures of the latest ultrasound. I think she looks so cute even now!!

I have also posted the latest "belly" pics. It is finally starting to look like a baby bump rather than a beer gut. These pictures were taken 2 weeks ago. I'll probably take some more in a few weeks and will be sure to post those as well.

The other pic is of our dog, Rudy. He likes to rip the paper once the pictures are taken...

I have been very lucky and felt wonderful throughout my entire pregnancy. I never had any nausea or got sick. Most of my friends who have had girls don't think this is very fair. I chalk it up to heridity. My mom had fairly easy pregnancies so I am thinking I may follow suit. I am finally starting to feel her move. It is so cool! It just feels like these little tiny flutters deep down. It just makes it all seem so real.

Work is good for both of us and keeping us busy these days. Rudy is doing good too! He is finally over his stage of not wanting anything to do with me because of my "changes" and is actually giving me a lot more attention so that makes me happy. Dennis is still his favorite though :) Anyway - we will post more as the time approaches and I am sure we will post a lot once Maddie gets here.
