Update but no new pictures

Hello,

Just wanted to provide everyone with our latest update. I will try to post some new photos this weekend of the belly. Now at 26 weeks, Maddie's making herself known to the world, that's for sure!

Things are going well in the Dupree household. We are slowly starting to make our to-do lists so we can start crossing things off. Our first order of business is for dad and Dennis to paint the basement, the nursery and the powder room. I would love to have everything done by my shower on June 6th.

We ordered the crib yesterday which my grandmother so generously is giving to us. It's beautiful and I can't wait to get it set up in the room. Don't worry - once the room is complete, I will post pictures for all to see.

We are going to order the bedding and the glider this weekend. Once those two things are ordered, I think we are done buying furniture for a while. It's getting really exciting though and I can't wait to see it all come together.

I am feeling great - no complaints expect for the occasional heartburn. I've heard rumors that heartburn indicates a "hairy" baby. I wouldn't doubt it since she's mine...but maybe we'll get lucky and she'll be more like her dad :)

She is kicking and moving a lot. So far, mom, dad, Billy, Cathy, Lisa and Heather have all felt her move...Dennis seems to be one of the few that hasn't but I think it's his lack of patience to just sit there with his hand on my belly for a few minutes. Oh well, he will feel it eventually. It's so strange though - sometimes I sit in meetings and she will move with some force and it catches me off guard and almost makes me laugh. It's pretty amazing.

We just planned our "last hooray for a while" trip to the beach in Mid May. I just need to confirm with my doctor that I can travel at 32 weeks but I don't think she'll have a problem with it.

Baseball will start up for Dennis again at the end of May. He has a few trips planned for mid June for tournaments but won't be too far away in case he needs to rush home.

It's slowly approaching but I know it will be here before we know it.

I promise to post more pics soon!
Love to all
